Our Year-Round Staff

Katelyn Lanciano - Camp Director
Katelyn has always loved working with children and creating spaces where they can grow, laugh, and make lasting memories. After earning her bachelor’s degree from Nova Southeastern University, she found her way into camp and program leadership — a path that quickly became her passion.
Before joining Green Acres, Katelyn spent eight summers with Calleva Outdoors, where she started as a junior counselor and worked her way up to Assistant Camp Director. She also spent four years with the Montgomery County Safety Patrol Camp, helping to create a fun and supportive environment that encouraged leadership and teamwork. These experiences shaped her belief in the power of camp to bring people together, spark confidence, and help kids discover new things about themselves.
Katelyn joined the Green Acres team in 2023 as Assistant Director and stepped into the Camp Director role the following summer. She’s excited to welcome campers back each year, both new and familiar faces, and to make every summer a place filled with adventure, creativity, and connection.

Anna Paugh - Assistant Camp Director
Anna Paugh has been passionate about summer camp since age 15, when she began her journey as a camp counselor at her local YMCA. While attending Ball State University to earn her bachelor's degree, Anna participated in an immersive learning program focused on preventing summer learning loss for rising 2nd graders. She remained with that program for three years, working closely with the camp director to coordinate engaging and meaningful activities for all campers.
For Anna, camp has always been a joyful and transformative space, her "happy place". That’s why joining Green Acres in February 2025 felt like a perfect fit. She immediately felt welcomed by the community and inspired by its dedication to outdoor learning and child-centered education. Her first summer flew by and was filled with lots of laughter and learning opportunities. She is excited to see what the future summers will hold!

Allison Obscura - Camp Nurse
Allison is a proud graduate of Columbia University’s School of Nursing in NYC. She grew up in Montgomery County, MD, where she attended Stone Ridge School and the Montgomery Scholars program at Montgomery College. Prior to becoming a nurse, she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Maryland. She has worked with children for most of her adult life in various capacities, most recently as a pediatric nurse in a primary care clinic at Kaiser. She joined the Green Acres community in summer 2025 as the camp nurse and has a son in pre-k at Green Acres. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time at the public library and in her garden.
